ADVANCE, Mo. -- Roscoe "Bud" Hazel, 74, of Advance died Friday, Aug. 24, 2001, at his home.
He was born Nov. 1, 1926, at Salcedo, Mo., son of Roscoe and Rosie Harlow Hazel.
Hazel was a retired owner-operator of a sawmill in Bell City, Mo.
He and Mildred Wallace were married July 18, 1945.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Ben Hazel of Bloomfield, Charlie and Bill Hazel, both of Advance; six daughters, Louise Ford and Dorothy Sturgeon, both of Advance, Alice Wright of Memphis, Tenn., Brenda McKenzie and Regina Ulloa, both of Sturgeon, Miss., and Sharon Herkenhoff of Hazelwood, Mo.; 22 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by two sons, one daughter, one grandson and one granddaughter.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Sargent officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Mo.
