ANNA, Ill. -- Roscoe D. Craft, 87, of Anna died Thursday, Sept. 30, 1999, at his home.
He was born June 7, 1912, in Whitewater, Mo., son of Alfred and Bertha Gohn Craft. He and Florence Adams were married. She died in 1957. He then married Clara Smith, who died in 1990.
Survivors include a special friend, Electa Hayes of Anna; four sons, Ralph David Craft of Makanda, Ross Craft of Kansas City, Kan., Thomas Craft of Lawrence, Kan., and Steven Craft of Scottsdale, Ariz.; seven daughters, Doris Yoder of Ballwin, Mo., Joyce Craft and Betty Martell, both of Mount Vernon, Bertha Jones of Granite City, Margaret Cunningham of Springfield, Ill., Nita Griffin of Columbia, Ill., and Ruth Bruch of Chesterfield, Mo.; a sister, Betty Bauer of Mobile, Ala.; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and two grandsons.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bon Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
