ORAN, Mo. — Rosalia Ann Friga, daughter of the late Mike and Rosa Pazdera Friga, was born Oct. 28, 1945, in Paragould, Arkansas, and departed her life Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, at her home in Oran at the age of 76 years.
She was the owner and operator of Rosalia's House of Glamour in Oran for more than 50 years. Rosalia was a proud foster parent for 30 years, housing more than 25 children in that time. She was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church, as well as the St. Ann Sodality and Ladies Auxiliary VFW. Rosalia was a Columbiette with the Knights of Columbus in Oran.
Survivors include two sons, Russel (Misty) Friga of Oran and Patrick (Kelly) Friga of Bethany, Missouri; five grandchildren, Racheal Friga, Ryan Friga, Riley Friga, Bryce Friga and Quinn Friga; brother, Ralph Friga of Cape Girardeau; significant other, Allison Van Brooks of Oran; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Rosalia was preceded in death by four brothers, Alfred, Tony, Edward and Steven Friga; and two sisters, Pauline Chambers and Loretta Winters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.
Eucharistic celebration will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, with the Rev. Joseph Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
