LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Rosalia G. "Rosie" Elfrink, 75, of Belleville, Ill., died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004, at Rosewood Care Center in Swansea, Ill.
She was born June 12, 1929, at Leopold, daughter of Martin P. and Hannah Vandeven Tenholder. She and Isidore "Ick" Elfrink were married June 30, 1948. He died Dec. 29, 1999.
Survivors include seven sons, Steve, Jim and Andy Elfrink of Belleville, Greg Elfrink of Dupo, Ill., Don and John Elfrink of Columbia, Mo., and Chris Elfrink of Oviedo, Fla.; two daughters, Diane Lanter and Paulette Roberg of Belleville; three sisters, Agatha DeBrock and Julie Elfrink of Leopold, Mary Vandeven of Marble Hill, Mo.; 30 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home in Belleville from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday. A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Belleville, with Monsignor Bernard Voss officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville.
