MOREHOUSE - Rosa Lee Kinder, of East Prairie Nursing Center, formerly of Morehouse, died Saturday, April 4, 1992 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was 75.
Kinder was born in Anna, Ill. Sept. 14, 1916, daughter of the late John and Lou Ella Hinkle Fowler.
She was a member of the First Oneness Pentecostal Church of Morehouse. On March 4, 1935 she married Daniel Chester Kinder in Morehouse. He died Dec. 5, 1976.
Surviving are a son, Edward Kinder of Belmont, Miss.; and daughters Alma Winkle of Wappapello; Geraldine Layton of Dogwood; Doris Beardsley of Rockford, Ill.; Petriglia Wheelis of Potosi; and Carol Foust of Bartlesville, Okla.
Also surviving are sisters Marie Swinford of St. Louis; Mary Myer of Coulterville, Ill.; and Bonnie Morris of New Athens, Ill.; and 23 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 15 step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, three brothers, and two sisters.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Funeral service will be held at the chapel Monay at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Nathaniel Lewis officiating.
Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery of Sikeston.
