Rosa Belle Hester, 97, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Sept. 14, 1998, at Southeast Hospital.
She was born March 6, 1901, in Bollinger County, daughter of Robert Walker and Ollie B. Loyd.
She married Ernest Hester Feb. 1, 1926, in Poplar Bluff. She was a homemaker and a member of the First General Baptist Church of Marble Hill.
Her husband and parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by a niece, Viola Lanning of Florida, and four nephews, Charles Fisher and Bob Bryant, both of Michigan, Gilbert Fisher of Nevada and Donald J. Hester of Dexter.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Hutchings Funeral Chapel of Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jessie Dude Long officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park.
