RONNIE HORNBURG

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Veronica Jo "Ronnie" Hornburg, 37, of Sikeston died Wednesday, July 11, 2001, in an automobile accident north of Sikeston.

She was born Oct. 30, 1963, in Sikeston, daughter of James E. and Margaret Reed Housman.

Hornburg was a 1982 graduate of East Prairie High School at East Prairie, Mo., graduated from the LPN program in Sikeston, and was a member of the first graduating class at Park College in 1990.

She worked at Missouri Delta Medical Center three years, and was a registered nurse at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau 11 years.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel Hughes of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., Alex Hornburg of the home; a daughter, Lauren Hornburg of the home; her father and stepmother, James and Donna Housman of Anniston, Mo.; her mother of East Prairie; a brother, Michael Housman of Anniston; a half brother, Jimmy Housman of Anniston; and fianc, Kevin Smith of Sikeston.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Mitchell Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
