Ronnie Joe Bowers, 59, of Delta passed away Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, at his home.
He was born Feb. 4, 1959, in Advance, Missouri, the son of Gene and Wanda Cooper Bowers. Ronnie and Carolyn Hickman were united in marriage Dec. 19, 1995, and she survives of the home.
Ronnie had worked for Havco Wood Products for 33 years. The last two years, he had been a truck driver for Pepsi Cola He was an avid fisherman. Ronnie and his wife enjoyed camping for the last 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Bowers; his mother, Wanda Bowers of Delta; two sons, Casey (Courtney) Bowers of Advance and Trey Chandler of Branson, Missouri; four daughters, Jenny Scroggins of Seal Beach, California, Natalie Scroggins of Cape Girardeau, Sunny Scroggins of Jonesboro, Illinois, and Bridgette Scroggins of Kelso, Missouri; four brothers, Donnie Bowers of Delta, Kevin Bowers of Lafayette, Tennessee, Kendall Bowers of Cape Girardeau and Mark Bowers of Scott City; a sister, Lisa Bowers of Delta; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, a brother and a sister.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Earl Elfrink officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery near Advance.
