RONNEY L. JOHNSON

Funeral service for Ronney Lee Johnson of DeSoto was held Saturday at Lemme Funeral Chapel in Festus. Burial was in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens at Crystal City.

Johnson, 49, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 1992, at his home.

He was born July 18, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, son of John Lowell and Corean Waterman Johnson. He and Dorothy Enke were married Jan. 8, 1965, in Biloxi, Miss.

Johnson was a member of American Legion Post 253, was active in Twin City Little League, and was executive committee chairman of Aethena Boy Scout Pack 891. He served in the U.S. Air Force eight years.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Keith Johnson; two daughters, Pamela and Tracie Johnson, all of DeSoto; a brother, Donald Johnson of Jackson, and a sister, Norma Masters of Gulfport, Miss.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son and sister.
