CHARLESTON -- Ronald Edward Walker, 52, of Charleston died suddenly Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born May 11, 1946, in Charleston, son of Mose and Alice Robinson Walker Sr.
Walker attended Charleston High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include a son, Ronzell Walker of Gary, Ind.; two daughters, Kimiasa Walker and Letitia Jones of Gary; six brothers, Gerald, Marvin, Ronnie and Craig Walker, all of Charleston, Larry Walker of Tupelo, Miss., and Mose Walker Jr. of Peoria, Ill.
Also surviving are four sisters, Mona Hamilton and Vienna Walker of Charleston, Erma Price of Joliet, Ill., Marie Robinson of Peoria, Ill.; a special friend, Marcia Claypool of Gary; and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mark Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wiley Reed officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
