PINHOOK -- Ronald Keith Robinson, 37, of Pinhook, died Tuesday, March 26, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, following a brief illness.
He was born Aug. 21, 1958, in Lawton, Okla., son of Jim and Aretha Myles Robinson Jr. He and Gwendolyn Mitchell were married Oct. 3, 1992.
Robinson was a 1976 graduate of East Prairie High School, and attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City.
He was a housing inspector with Bootheel Regional Planning Commission in Malden, and a member of the Mississippi County Sheriff's Patrol Reserves. He was a member of Union Baptist Church, where he served as Sunday School superintendent, Bible School teacher, and was on the deacons board.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Justin Griffin of Sikeston; his parents; four brothers, Bernard Robinson of Pinhook, David Robinson of Venice, Italy, Donald Robinson of Pine Bush, N.Y., Reginald Robinson of Seattle, Wash.; three sisters, Debra Tarver and Twan Robinson of Pinhook, and LaToya Robinson of Sikeston.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston from noon to 7 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Union Baptist Church, with the Rev. Larry William officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
