RONALD O. CARDEN

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Ronald O'Dell Carden of East Prairie will be held at 11 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. Larry Smith will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park.

Carden, 46, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Feb. 20, 1949, in East Prairie, son of Charles Phillip and Velma Johnson Carden. He and Elizabeth Dianne Gibson were married May 16, 1987.

Carden was retired from Ford Motor Co. in Chicago. He moved here five years ago from Indiana.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Bryan Carden of the home; four daughters, Velma Wells of Elkhart, Ind., Mary Carden of Portage, Ind., Lottie Norville of East Prairie, Veronica Carden of the home; his mother of Hobart, Ind.; two brothers, Wendell Kell of Lake Station, Ind., Allen Carden of Hobart, Ind.; two sisters, Willie Burnes of Portage, Janice Jerigen of Dyersburg, Tenn., and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.
