MARQUAND -- Ronald J. Yamnitz, 57, of rural Marquand died Saturday, Sept. 9, 1995, at Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Sept. 5, 1938, at Patton, son of Lancie and Irene Smith Yamnitz. He married Joyce Yount on June 29, 1957.
He was a farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Calvary Temple Church at Fredericktown, where he served on the church board and as a Sunday school teacher. He also was a member of the Millersville Westview Masonic Lodge and the Bollinger County Extension. He served 15 years on the Meadow Heights Board of Education.
Survivors include his parents and wife; two daughters, Shelia Bollinger of Sedgewickville and Stacy Daleo of St. Peters; a brother, Carl Yamnitz of Patton; two sisters, Edith Propst and Kathy Vanneman of Patton; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Temple Church in Fredericktown, where funeral service will follow with the Rev. Randy Sawyer and the Rev. Jerry Sander officiating. Burial will be in the Patton Cemetery.
A Masonic service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today.
