Ronald Lee Hartle, 74, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, at his home.

He was born Aug. 23, 1947, in Cape Girardeau to Bill and Shirley Moore Hartle.

He was a 1965 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School. He attended Southeast Missouri State University. He served in the National Guard and was an Eagle Scout.

Ronald worked for Samsung Electronics of America, where he was the U.S. director of customer service from 1987 to 2004. He was the sound engineer at Broadcast Biscuit Live National Television from 2005 to 2015. He then became owner of Audius Vidius.

He loved the Rolling Stones and all types of motor sports. He was one of the best motorcycle racers in the area.

Survivors include his sister, Donna S. (Patrick J.) Taylor of Cape Girardeau; brother, Jeff Hartle of Flower Mound, Texas; ex-wife and close friend, Dianne Hartle of Cape Girardeau; two nephews, Andy (Stacy) Taylor of Cape Girardeau and Blake Hartle of New York, New York; niece, Dannielle (Ross) McKnight of Montgomery, Alabama; stepson, Matt Kraichely of St. Louis; stepdaughter, Candace Dawn Anglin of St. Louis; two stepgrandchildren, Mason Marshall of Denver and Riley Anglin of St. Louis; two great-nephews, Jacob Taylor and Caleb Taylor, both of Cape Girardeau; two great-nieces, Eloise McKnight and Amelia McKnight, both of Montgomery; and his special canine friend, Rusty.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Traci Nicole Taylor.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to Siteman Cancer Center or American Diabetes Association.
