TAMMS, Ill. — Ronald Cain, 71, of Tamms died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019, at Monticello House in Jackson.
He was born July 21, 1947, in Cairo, Illinois, to Henry Edgar and Margaret Elaine Brown Cain.
Ronald retired from Procter & Gamble, where he was a dedicated technician for 32 years. He was a passionate hunter and horseback rider. He and his dad shared their passion for horses. For many years, if he was not at Procter & Gamble, he was on a horse. After retirement, he became a hunting guide at Doctorman’s.
He is survived by his son, Tim Cain; grandchildren, Maison Cain, Sydney Cain, Samuel Cain and R.J. Edwards; brother, Kevin (Amy) Cain; sister, Elaine (Kevin) Lasher; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Margaret Cain.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Stroup. officiating. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Dongola, Illinois.
