Ron Tucker

Ronnie E. Tucker, 52, of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 6, 1961, in Cape Girardeau to Franklin Marion and Thelma Ruth Beggs Tucker.

He and Amy Napier were married Sept. 10, 1994, at East Cape Girardeau, Ill.

Ron was a 1979 graduate of Shawnee High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. He worked in network security for Montgomery Bank and was in the computer field many years.

He was a member of Cape Bible Chapel and a past member of Paducah Kennel Club.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Tucker and daughter, Rachael Tucker of Cape Girardeau; mother, Thelma Ruth Tucker of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Ira Froggatt of Scott City and Tracy Tucker of McClure, Ill.; and a sister, Phyllis Schwab of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters.

Friends may call from noon until time of service Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Dan Greene officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Montgomery Bank to assist the family with their expenses.
