Funeral for Ron K. Reimann of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Ron Watts will officiate. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Reimann, 57, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2000, at his home.

He was born Jan. 24, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, son of Frederick William and Anita Laura Popp Reimann. He and Janis Barks were married Aug. 2, 1963, in Cape Girardeau.

Reimann was a lifelong resident of Cape Girardeau. He was a field mechanic with Missouri State Highway Department in Cape Girardeau and Jackson, Mo., 31 years, retiring Aug. 1, 2000.

He was a member of LaCroix United Methodist Church. He served in the Missouri National Guard from 1967-72.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Darrin Reimann of Columbia, Mo.; a daughter, Dr. Janna Crosnoe of Cape Girardeau; a brother, David Reimann of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Donna Meredith of Sikeston, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son.
