Romilda A. Alstat, 80, of Greshem, Ore., and formerly of Mound City, Ill., died Friday, May 26, 2000, in Greshem.
She was born Sept. 23, 1919, in Ellis, Kan., daughter of Alex and Emma Niernberger Wiesner.
She married Carl Alstat. Together they owned and operated the former Alstat Funeral Home in Mound City. He died in 1973.
She is survived by two sons, Edward Alstat of Sandy, Ore., and Ronnie Sack of Chicago; a daughter, Karen Alstat of Sandy; three sisters, Betty Ezzie and Rita Laczewski of Palos Park, Ill., and Irene Wolf of Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Kenneth Wiesner of Country Club Hills, Ill., and Harry Wiesner of Dyer, Ind.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday at Barkett Funeral Home in Mound City.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mound City, with the Rev. Bill McGhee officiating. Burial will be in the U. S. National Cemetery in Mound City.
