ANNA, Ill. -- Rollie "Blue" Wright, 68, of Anna died Monday, Aug. 18, 1997, at the VA Medical Center in Marion.

He was born June 16, 1929, in Alto Pass, son of Rollie and Celia Ellen Sprouce Wright. He and Billie Jean Lambert were married Nov. 3, 1951, at Murphysboro. She died March 19, 1996.

Wright was a member of Anna Church of God.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Hickam of Alto Pass, Doris Bennett of Marion; a son, Drury Wright of Anna; a brother, Frank Wright of Herrin; a sister, Barbara Brewer of Makanda; four grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Austin Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Makanda.
