Roger Wayne Moonier, 67, of Jackson died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 6, 1942, in Perryville, Mo., to Lucille Lorene Ruch and Edgar "Tudor" Moonier. He first married Karen Mills in 1963. He later married Elane Ertman on Aug. 19, 2003.
Moonier was employed at Procter & Gamble Co. 28 years, retiring in 1997. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ at Fruitland.
Survivors include his wife, Elane; mother, Lucille Moonier of Perryville; two daughters, Laura (Steve) Croy of Oak Ridge, Kathy (Brian) Wacker of Perryville; a sister, Judy (Quentin "Peanuts") Campbell of Perryville; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
The funeral was held Saturday at St. John's United Church of Christ in Fruitland, with the Rev. David Schaffner officiating. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery.
McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
