Roger John Hinkebein, 54, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, May 21, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born April 10, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, son of Jerome H. "Jerry" and Marie Stause Hinkebein. He and Terry Duncan were married May 3, 2004.
Roger worked for Midwest Cable Splicing Company of Jackson for 34 years. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 3775 of Cape Girardeau, and Jackson Elks Lodge 2652.
Loving survivors include his wife; his mother, Marie Hinkebein of Jackson; five brothers, Thomas (Laura) Hinkebein of Cape Girardeau, Ronald Hinkebein, Robert (Joyce) Hinkebein, Vaughn (Marsha) Hinkebein, James (Janette) Hinkebein, all of Jackson; a sister, Janice (Douglas) Bigham of Olive Branch, Ill.; a stepson, David (Erin) Hoffman of Leopold, Mo.; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister-in-law, Susan Hinkebein.
Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. An Eagles service will be held at 7.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with Monsignor Edward Eftink officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
