McCLURE, Ill. -- Roger Dale Held, 66, of McClure died Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at his home.
He was born Aug. 27, 1952, in Cape Girardeau to Edwin David and Anna Lee Hale Held. He married Dianna McCain on Dec. 18, 1972, and she survives of Jackson.
Roger was an iron worker and a fearless Harley rider. He was a man who loved his girls beyond measure and lived life to the fullest.
He is also survived by three daughters, Lisa Held of Anna, Illinois, Jaime (Nathan) Wills of McClure and Stacy (David) Mathey of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri; six sisters, Carolyn Dinwiddie, Linda Matlock and Donna Froggatt, all of Scott City, Phyllis Miller of Chaffee, Missouri, Cathy Medford of Benton, Missouri, and Debbie Gullett of Jackson; nine grandchildren, and a great-grandson on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Memorial service will be at noon Saturday at the chapel.
