Roger Chubb

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Roger J. Chubb, 64, of Lowndes, Mo., died Friday, May 25, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 15, 1942, in Rhodes, Mich., son of John and Leona Rogers Chubb. He and Naomi Moss were married June 16, 1962, at Zalma, Mo.

Chubb was a retired carpenter, and member of Community Church of Christ at Lowndes.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Stanley Chubb of Zalma, Brandon Chubb of Lowndes, Matthew Chubb of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two daughters, Penny Hurt of Advance, Janell Patterson of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Patsy Charles of Defiance, Mo.; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Visitation will be from noon to service time Sunday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jack and Dale Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Community Church of Christ Cemetery at Lowndes.
