Roger Brown

Roger Gale Brown, 73, of Beaverville, Ill., died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014.

He was born March 7, 1940, in Delta, son of Jesse L. and Florence Bain Brown.

Surviving are his wife, Iraena Gibbons Brown; five children, Tonia (Rusty) Collins, Sonia Fisher (Jay Williams), Donna (Scott) Wascher, Greg (Susan) Brown and Rhonda (Mike) Emerson; two brothers, James Michael Brown (special friend Nancy Shrum) and Ricky Brown; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Patricia "Patty" Brown; a granddaughter, Courtney Bires; and a sister, Lorna Sue Cordia.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at Clancy-Gernon-Houk Funeral Home in St. Anne, Ill.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.
