Rodney Gale Holloway, 47, of Scott City died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 11, 1956, in Cape Girardeau, son of Harold and Juanita Vistia Crader Holloway. He and Karen Faye Austin were married May 27, 1984, in Scott City.
Holloway was owner of K&R Estates in Scott City and also worked at Capetown RV Sales. He had been a councilman in Scott City since 1997.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Daniel Holloway of Scott City; a stepson, Stephen Parker of Millersburg, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Michelle Siebert of Junction City, Kan.; his parents of Jackson; two brothers, Ivan and Larry Holloway of Jackson; three sisters, Wanda Varney of Jackson, Judy Hicks of Cape Girardeau, Doris Woods of Benton, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
