Rodney T. Henderson, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born Dec. 12, 1959, in Cairo, Illinois, to Barney Henderson, Jr. and Audrey Via Henderson.
He and Stacey Propst were married Dec. 4, 1998, at Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. She survives.
Rodney was a self-employed carpenter.
He enjoyed playing guitar and singing and was formerly a member of the local area band, Faultline.
Survivors include his wife, Stacey Henderson of Cape Girardeau; son, Rodney Drake Henderson of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Madalyn Henderson of Cape Girardeau, Melinda (Michael) Goodman of Anna, Illinois, Carla (David) Whitaker of Jonesboro, Illinois; four brothers, Glenn Henderson, Vernon (Lois) Henderson and Clinton (Crystal) Henderson, all of Olive Branch, Illinois and Adam (Megan) Henderson of Tamms, Illinois; two sisters, Beverly (Jerry) Held and Ellen (Dickie) Barnes of Olive Branch; and six grandchildren, Caleb, Kyle, Brock, Abby, Cole and Ella.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
A private graveside service will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery with the Rev. Brett Cheek officiating.
