Rodger Jeireld Snell, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, May 17, 2021, at his home.
He was born March 23, 1952, in Cape Girardeau to Jeireld Raymond and Helen Marie Nabe Snell. He and Tina Snell were married Nov. 3, 2000, in Cape Girardeau.
Rodger was a 1969 College High graduate.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1973 to 1975.
He worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Post Office.
He was a member of the Egypt Mills Antique Tractor Club, Elks Lodge 639 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3838. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Snell of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Jared (Misty) Snell and Kelly (Valerie) Snell of Cape Girardeau; two stepdaughters, Lindsey Reimann of Gulf Shores, Alabama, and Hailey (Aaron) Keena of Jackson; three grandchildren, Aidan, McKenzie and Kamryn Snell; two brothers, Gary (Kim) Snell and David (Becky) Snell of Cape Girardeau; and sister, Joann (Bobby) Hosey of Jackson.
Rodger was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
