JONESBORO, Ill. -- Rodger Maze, 45, of Jonesboro died Friday, March 30, 2001, at his home.
He was born March 3, 1956, in Fort Carson, Colo., son of Louis and Bonnie Spurlock Maze. He and Rhonda Smith were married Dec. 29, 2000, in Union County.
Maze was a truck driver with J.B. Hunt Trucking.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Rebekka Gerardi of Anna; his mother of Jonesboro; his father of Olive Branch, Ill.; three brothers, David Maze of Sikeston, Mo., Mike Maze of Orlando, Fla., Paul Maze of Butler, Ill.; a sister, Hope Thompson of Sedgewickville, Mo.; and maternal grandmother, Ellen Spurlock of Mount Vernon, Ill.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Stamp officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery, with military rites conducted by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.
