SIKESTON — Mary Robyn Hale Goodin, 66, of Sikeston passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at her home.
Robyn was born March 31, 1958, in Cape Girardeau to the late Robert Richard and Mary Alice Cauble Hale of Sikeston.
Robyn graduated from Sikeston High School in 1976. She attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and went on to graduate from Texas A&M University in College Station in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences.
Robyn was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was an avid equestrian who supported the Youth 4-H Rodeo and was a true animal lover. Robyn was very thoughtful, loving and generous, always making family holidays memorable. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by one son and one daughter-in-law, John Robert and Morgan Collier Goodin of Charleston; a grandchild, whom she adored, Charlotte Jane “Lottie” Goodin, with another grandchild expected this July; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Bo Catrino of Sikeston; and two nieces, Mary Catherine “Bunny” Catrino (Courtland) Kohlfeld and Sarah Catrino (Tyler) Cuba. She is also survived by five great-nieces, three great-nephews and cousins she loved dearly.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Private graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 10, at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church-Children’s Ministry, P.O. Box 442, Charleston, MO 63834.
