ROBERTA T. BARNHART

McCLURE, Ill. Roberta T. Barnhart, 68, of Springfield, formerly of McClure, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1993, at her home.

She was born Aug. 10, 1924, at Gilroy, Calif., daughter of James F. and Louise Boeken Holbert. She married Charles Rex Barnhart in 1961. He preceded her in death in 1986.

She worked for the Anna Mental Health Center for many years before her retirement in 1987. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in McClure and served in the Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service during World War II.

She is survived by a sister, Juanita Holbert of Springfield.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

A private graveside service was held Jan. 26 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield. Bisch and Son Funeral Home of Springfield was in charge of arrangements.
