ANNA, Ill. -- Robert Charles Witthoft, 56, of Anna died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, at his home.

He was born Nov. 20, 1942, at Campbell Hill, son of William F. and Mary Brenneman Witthoft.

He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church at Anna and was a carpenter by trade.

Survivors include his mother of Anna; a son, Brett Witthoft of Dongola; and six brothers, William F. "Bill" Witthoft of Cobden, John Witthoft of Marissa, Jim Witthoft of Campbell Hill, Roy Witthoft of East Alton, Don Witthoft of Anna and Wayne Witthoft of Oxford, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father and three brothers.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home at Cobden.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. James Rivett will officiate.
