ROBERT W. WACHTER

Funeral service for Robert Wilson Wachter of Crestwood was held Tuesday in St. Louis.

Wachter, 79, died Friday, April 17, 1992, enroute to a St. Louis hospital.

He was born July 31, 1912, at Jackson, son of John and Emma Clementz Wachter. He and the former Sylvia Grant were married in 1950.

Wachter moved to St. Louis in 1942. He worked at McDonnell Douglas 35 years, retiring in 1977. He had been a member of Maplewood Christ Church United Church of Christ 42 years.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Gwen Graff of California; two brothers, R.M. Wachter of Cape Girardeau, Gene Wachter of Hollywood, Fla., and two grandchildren.
