ADVANCE, Mo. -- Robert Glenn Voudrie, 63, of Advance died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, at John J. Pershing Veterans Administration Hospital in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
He was born Aug. 1, 1941, in Chester, Ill., son of Joseph and Elizabeth Wilkinson Voudrie. He and Cathy Fowler were married June 20, 1970, at Sturdivant, Mo.
Voudrie had worked at a shoe factory. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and attended Brownwood General Baptist Church.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Jesse Voudrie of Sturdivant; two daughters, Debra Voudrie of Sturdivant, Jennifer Beeson of Brownwood; four sisters, Eula Hopkins of Owensville, Mo., Rosa Faulkner of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Helen Martin of Rockwood, Ill., Lois Gadberry of Chester, Ill.; and a grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Ray Greenlee and Scott Payne officiating. Burial will be in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, with full military rites.
