ROBERT UKELE

PERRYVILLE -- Funeral for Robert Peter Ukele of Perryville will be held at 2 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Huttegger will officiate. Burial will be in Evangelical St. Petri Cemetery in Red Bud, Ill.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until service time.

Ukele, 75, died Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at Perry Oaks Healthcare Center.

He was born May 16, 1923, in St. Louis, son of Robert P. and Katherine Dane Ukele. He and Grace D. Hough were married Sept. 2, 1949. She died June 1, 1982.

Ukele retired as parts manager at Marquitz Motors in Troy. He was a member of American Legion Post 133.

Survivors include four daughters, Kathleen Huttegger of Perryville, Kaye Lee of Malden, Kristine Lorch of College Station, Texas, Koren Atwater of St. Charles; four sons, Keith Ukele of Arlington, Wash., Kevin Ukele of St. Louis, Kim Ukele of O'Fallon, Kenneth Ukele of Florissant; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister.
