SIKESTON, Mo. -- Robert Troup, 93, of Memphis, Tenn., died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
He was born March 8, 1911, in Aberdine, Miss.
Troup worked more than 30 years at Sikeston Compress, and attended West End Baptist Church. He later attended New Hickory Hill Baptist Church in Memphis.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille; three sons, Willie Troup of Hamilton, Miss., Herman Prince of Dayton, Ohio, Adolphis Prince of Texas; a daughter, Bethany Bean of Decatur, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Wilma Temple of Memphis; and 11 grandchildren.
Friends may call at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston after 2 p.m. Saturday.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Ronald Williams officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
