THEBES, Ill. -- Robert G. "Bob" Storm, 85, of Thebes died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo. He was born Jan. 18, 1915, in Thebes, son of Louis and Hattie Peeler Storm. He married Frances Wilson Aug. 17, 1946. She died Sept. 15, 1997...

THEBES, Ill. -- Robert G. "Bob" Storm, 85, of Thebes died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo.

He was born Jan. 18, 1915, in Thebes, son of Louis and Hattie Peeler Storm. He married Frances Wilson Aug. 17, 1946. She died Sept. 15, 1997.

Storm was a member of Thebes Baptist Church and Labor Local 773 of Cairo, Caledonia Lodge 47 AF&AM, and Scottish Rite Bodies. He was retired from the Army Corps of Engineers. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a brother, William Storm of Rancho Cordova, Calif.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Carl D. Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
