MOREHOUSE -- Robert Lee Sterling, 48, of Morehouse, died Tuesday, July 16, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born June 11, 1948, in East Prairie, son of Guy and Birdie Woods Sterling.
Formerly of East Prairie, he had lived in Morehouse two years. He was operator of the Water Treatment Plant in Neosho, and member of Full Gospel Church in East Prairie. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include a son, Todd Sterling of Sikeston; three brothers, Donnie Sterling of Mayfield, Ky., Lloyd and Claude Sterling of St. Louis; four sisters, Doris Owens of East Prairie, Mable Edwards of Sikeston, Betty Kestner of Morehouse, Katherine Nations of Jackson, and a special friend, James Russell of Morehouse.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
