ROBERT SMITH JR.

SIKESTON -- Robert E. Smith Jr., 27, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1998, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Jan. 19, 1971, at Sikeston, son of Robert E. and Alice Jane Russom Smith Sr. He and Jamie A. Lewis were married May 22, 1993, in Sikeston.

Smith was a 1990 graduate of Sikeston High School, and attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

He was a construction foreman with Jack Walters and Sons Corp.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Smith III of the home; his parents; a sister, Kim Smith; and maternal grandmother, Euda Russom, all of Sikeston.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church, with Dr. Jim Davis and the Revs. Rick Lasley, Tom Geers and Eugene Bosley officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
