ROBERT SHAFER

MALDEN -- Robert Daniel Shafer, 66, of Waterloo, Ala., and formerly of Malden, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, at his home.

Shafer had lived in Waterloo for about 10 years. He previously lived in Malden where he worked for the public utilities for 21 years.

He was a member of Pine Hill Church of Christ in Waterloo.

Survivors include his mother, Emma Shafer of Dell, Ark.; his wife, Frankie Sego Shafer of Waterloo; two daughters, Mary Ann Case of Cape Girardeau and Judy Pedigo of Dexter; a son, William Eugene Shafer of Parma; two sisters, Louise Winchester of Gideon and Hattie Anderson of Charleston; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Pine Hill Church of Christ. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Lauderdale County in Alabama.

Shackelford Funeral Home in Savannah, Tenn., is in charge of arrangements.
