ROBERT RAMIREZ

Robert D. Ramirez, 43, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, April 6, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born July 17, 1956, at San Antonio, Texas, son of Ambrose C. and Lucy Dominguez Ramirez. He and Rhonda Susan Vinet were married Dec. 24, 1997, at San Antonio, Texas.

Ramirez worked for Salyer Perfusion of St. Louis and was chief perfusionist at St. Francis Medical Center. He received a bachelor's degree in perfusion from The Texas Heart Institute at the University of Texas.

He also served with the United States Navy in the Persian Gulf.

Survivors include his mother of San Antonio; his wife of Cape Girardeau; a son, Antonio A. Ramirez of Cape Girardeau; a stepson, Beau A. Blanchard of New Orleans, La.; a daughter, Isabella Sophia Ramirez of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Joe Ramirez of Houston, Texas; and two sisters, Sylvia Ramirez of Austin, Texas and Gloria Pedroza of San Antonio.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Medical Center.
