ROBERT MYERS SR.

ADVANCE -- Robert "Bob" Myers Sr., 60, of Advance, died Thursday, April 11, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 1, 1935, in El Dorado, Kan., son of Edwin Virgil and Delores Spunaugle Myers. He and Ellen Spain were married July 12, 1963, in El Dorado.

Myers was a plumber.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Robert Myers Jr. of Tacoma, Wash., Richard Myers of Zalma, Virgil Myers of Advance; two daughters, Diana Ryon of Fruitland, Mary Ellsworth of Advance; three brothers, Jerry Myers of Lehigh, Kan., Gary Myers of Pratt, Kan., Michael Myers of Goessel, Kan.; a sister, Laura Holland of Poplarville, Miss., and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Virgil Bunch officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
