Robert Larton McFall, son of the late Gendron McFall and Frances Diggs Lesch, was born Oct. 25, 1948, in Cape Girardeau and departed his life on his birthday, Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, surrounded by family at his home in Cape Girardeau at the age of 75 years.
Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
On Feb. 12, 1971, he married Betty Uhrhan in Scott City. She survives.
Apart from his wife, he is also survived by two sons, Darren (Wendy) McFall of Grassy, Missouri, and Travis (Whitney) McFall of Oak Ridge; four brothers, Alvin (Linda) McFall of Scott City, George McFall of Delta, Ronnie (Alicia) McFall of Hamilton, Ohio, and Dale (Crystal) Lesch of Allenville; two sisters, Sandy Blankenship of Dexter, Missouri, and Roxanne Goodman of Scott City; and five grandchildren, Gavin, Hayden and Tobi McFall and Paige and Meagan Allred.
He was preceded in death his parents and a great-grandchild, Marleigh Allred.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating. Interment, with full military honors, will follow at the Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
