Robert Leadbetter

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Robert Edward Leadbetter, 58, of Chaffee passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at Heartland Care and Rehab Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 10, 1960, in Cape Girardeau to Raymond Gerald Leadbetter and Helen Marie Scholz.

Robert was a retired truck driver for Klug Transport in Farmington, Missouri. He was a Christian.

He is survived by his mother, Helen Scholz of Whitewater; five sisters, Ramona Matthews, Rhonda Blumenberg, Rebecca Houston, Karen Leadbetter and Kim Barks; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Specks.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Leadbetter.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Joe Allen officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
