CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for Robert Lee Clark of Charleston will be held at 11 a.m. today at McMikle Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m.
Clark, 68, died Saturday, April 3, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 23, 1924, at Wyatt, son of Charles A. and Ethel M. Walton Clark. He married Martha June Aldridge, who died in 1964. He later married Freda Jane Smith, who died Jan. 1, 1986.
Clark was a truck driver, retiring in 1983. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.
Survivors include four sons, Daniel Clark of Lafayette, La., Floyd Clark of Dwight, Ill., Robert Clark of Beardstown, Ill., Dale Clark of Campbell, Calif.; three daughters, Judy Clark and Trudy Brucker of Las Vegas, Nev., Rebecca Story of Metropolis, Ill.; two brothers, Russell Clark of Sikeston, Jim Clark of Terre Haute, Ind.; two sisters, Dorothy Sanders of St. Louis, Sue Hodges of Charleston; 17 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
