Robert Dale Killian, 66, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022, at his home.
He was born March 4, 1956, in Cape Girardeau to John Russell and Jewell Eveline Carter Killian. He married Cindy Boyett, and she survives.
He was a laborer for Union Local 1104. He was a 1974 graduate of Scott City High School, where he was an all-state football player.
Robert is survived by three sons, Matthew (Brandi) Killian of Cape Girardeau, Brandon (Amy) Killian of Newport News, Virginia, and Andrew (Miranda) Killian of Kelso, Missouri; four brothers, Arnold (Connie) Killian and Steve (Beckie) Killian of Scott City, Eddie (Ruth) Killian of New Bloomfield, Missouri, and Jim (Brenda) Killian of Shelton, Washington; a sister, Evelyn Buffington of Scott City; and 16 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Steven Mayfield.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Burgard.
