WYATT, Mo. -- Brian Robert Ketterer, 19, of Wyatt died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, from injuries received in a two-car accident on Interstate 55 near Scott City, Mo.
He was born May 25, 1981, at Cape Girardeau, son of Mark Robert Ketterer of Charleston, Mo., and Sheri New Hunt of Springfield, Mo.
A member of the New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church in Wyatt, he was a graduate of the Charleston High School class of 2000. He was attending Southeast Missouri State University.
He was employed with Sonic Drive-In in Charleston and was a member of the Cape Girardeau Evening Lions Club.
He and Leslie Webb were married Sept. 7, 1999.
Survivors include his wife; his father and mother; his stepfather, Larry Hunt of Springfield; his stepmother, Mary Rita Scheffer Ketterer of Charleston; a stepdaughter, Jessica Webb of Wyatt; a brother, Joseph Mark Ketterer, stationed with the Navy in Virginia Beach, Va.; a stepbrother, Jed Hunt of Springfield; and three stepsisters, Daphne Thomas of Charleston, Laura Wilson of St. Louis and Lindsey Estes of Mount Vernon, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Leroy Thornton will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Henry Catholic Church immediately following burial. The Rev. Gerald Brown will celebrate Mass.
