ROBERT J. DICKSON

SIKESTON -- Robert J. Dickson, 92, of Sikeston, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Feb. 18, 1902, in Perry County, Tenn., son of Dr. Alonzo and Julia Starbuck Dickson. He and Earline Jones were married Nov. 28, 1926, at Sikeston.

Dickson was a carpenter, and member of Shady Acres Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Floyd Dickson of Anderson, Ind., Kenneth Dickson of Sikeston; two daughters, Shirley Littleton and Ramona Kyle of Sikeston; three sisters, Effie Nealey, Dorothy Powell and Virgie Gowans of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters and a grandson.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with Pat Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
