EAST PRAIRIE -- Robert Harold Patrick, 69, of East Prairie, died Nov. 17, 1992, at his home of an apparent heart attack.
He was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Lake County, Tenn., the son of Henry and Myrtle Merryman Patrick. He had lived in Mississippi County most of his life.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
He married Dorothy Staggs on May 30, 1942. She survives.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one great-grandson.
Survivors include six sons, Raymond and Jessee Patrick, both of Charleston, Larry, Phillip, Robert and Richard Patrick, all of East Prairie; nine daughters, Pauline Harris of Colt, Ark., Judy Keyes of Leesville, La., Sheila Cobb of Bernie, Joyce Cobb, Regina Ashby and Phyllis Smith, all of Dexter, Glenda Hedges, Ellen Patrick and Kathy Melton, all of East Prairie; three brothers, Nathaniel "Jack" Patrick of St. Anne, Ill., James Patrick of East Prairie and Carl Patrick of Grand Chain, Ill; one sister, Viola Patrick of Cairo; 35 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5:30 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Shelby Chapel with Brother Mike Johnson, pastor of the Full Gospel Church in East Prairie, officiating.
Interment will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
