Robert Hampson

SILVER LAKE, Mo. -- Robert J. "Bob" Hampson, 21, died Friday, June 21, 2002, in rural Perry County from injuries received in an automobile accident.

He was born June 19, 1981, at Ste. Genevieve, Mo., son of John R. "Rick" and Mary A. Riney Hampson.

Hampson was a 1999 graduate of Perryville High School. He was a boilermaker, and member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Survivors include his parents; a brother, Daniel Hampson; two sisters, Laura and Sara Hampson, all of Silver Lake; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Leona Riney of Perryville, Mo.; and paternal grandmother, Mary Hampson of Silver Lake.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Parish prayers will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Rose of Lima Church, with the Rev. Alphonse Hoernig officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
