MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Robert Douglas Golden, 29, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, departed this world Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018, to eternal life.

He was born April 27, 1989, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to Doug and Donna Masters Golden.

His formative years were spent in Jackson, graduating from Jackson High School in 2007.

United in marriage Sept. 25, 2010, with Alicia Lynette Streiler, the couple spent a total of 13 years together.

They made their home in Jackson, working and attending Grace Fellowship Worship Center, before moving to Tulsa in 2015 to attend Rhema Bible College. While at Rhema, Robert was a student usher, an ambassador, head usher of Synergy, and a Sunday night usher. He joined best friend, Jordan Mitchell, in growing the men's fellowship group, Beards and Camping. On May 18, 2018, Robert became a Rhema graduate of ministry fundamentals, with the intent of pioneering a church in Athens, Texas.

He was employed by TVs 4 Less, as assistant manager.

In addition to his wife, Alicia Golden, Robert leaves behind his parents, Doug Golden of Marble Hill and Donna Daniel of Tulsa; a brother, Zach (Nichole) Golden of Tulsa; in-laws, Jim and Debbie Streiler and Josh Streiler of Marble Hill.

Robert's life will continue to be celebrated by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will take place Saturday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel of Marble Hill, with Michael Sowers officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m.
